A woman from Michigan has been arrested and charged after she was found in possession of mariujana during a traffic stop in Ritchie County on the 8th of June. The woman known and addressed as Denise Miracle, a 21 year old lady, was travelling at 77 miles in an area with regulated 65 miles per hour travel area in Ritchie county. When the stop was made, Denise gave her information to the deputies however when the deputies began to perceive the smell of marijuana coming from the car, they proceeded to conduct an open air sniff of the area where the vehicle was with some K9 units and it was discovered that there was some illicit substance in the vehicle. When the vehicle was searched the deputies found a plastic bag containing some green leafy substances which when tested on the field came back positive for marijuana. The marijuana was weighed and it was found to be about 122 grams. She has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and she is being detained at the North Central regional jail on a $15,000 bond.
