The Ritchie County Prosecuting Office has released the list of indictments as returned by the Ritchie county Grand jury for the October term of the court.
A mother, Elizabeth Saxton was charged with child neglect, as well as the death and concealment of a body. The story was that she delivered a child at home and did not attempt to get medical help for the child even when the child was not breathing. Another individual who told a little girl under 16 that he wanted to have sexual relations with her and visit her home was charged with soliciting sex from a minor.
Other persons indicted include:
- Anderson Donald P. of 706 Gooseneck Run Rd.who was accused and charged on the grounds with 1 count of Burglary and 4 counts of Grand Larceny for crimes committed in March of 2021.
- Arnott Jalen M, of 3010, third Avenue, Vienna WV, 20 years who was accused and charged on the grounds of counts of Fleeing from a police officer in a vehicle in a dangerous manner, Refusal to halt at through highways, Reckless overtaking of a vehicle which was proceeding in the same direction, left of center, Dangerously speeding, driving a vehicle without proof of registration, refusal and inability to provide a Certificate of Inspection, Refusal to maintain required security and operating a vehicle as a driver with a suspended license, all committed in August of 2021.
- Barszczewski, Anthony III of, 10, rufus street, Unit 108, Athens, OH who was accused and charged on the grounds of illegal possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, driving with suspended license and dangerous speeding, all committed in July 2021.
- Carpenter, Micheal D. of Lot 8, Edgelawn Campground, Parkesburg who was accused and charged on the grounds of Uttering and Forgery committed in November, 2018.
- Ferrell, Robert G, of 127, Winding Heights road, Parkersburg, WV who was indicted for Driving with a revoked license and also a third time offence of Driving while being under the influence of alcohol, all committed in April of 2021.
- Goff Jordan T, of 117 Cloverdale Estate, Drive 20, St marys WV who was accused and charged on the grounds of running from an officer in a Vehicle while being under the influence, driving on roadways meant for traffic, refusal to give required signal, refusal to produce certificate of inspection, refusal to maintain required security, absence of insurance certificate, driving without proof of registration, driving in a reckless manner, illegal right turn and wrongful speeding all committed in July of 2021.
- Headley, Everett C. of 837 little beason road Pennsboro WV who was accused and charged on the grounds of running from an officer in a vehicle in a manner that portrays a reckless indifference, running from an officer in a vehicle while driving under the influence of Alcohol, aggravated DUI all committed in July 2021.
- Knight, Brian F. of 75 Cheyenne Road Elizabeth, who was accused and charged on the grounds of being in possession of a controlled substance illegally and with intent to deliver, conspiracy to commit the crime of being in the possession of a controlled substance illegally with intent to deliver, all committed in July 2021.
- Law, James M. of 308 Jewell Drive, Pennsboro WV, who was accused and charged on the grounds of Domestic Assault and Illegal possession of firearm. Committed in July 2021.
- McClung, Danny R. of 1215, Newark Road Elizabeth, WV who was accused and charged on the grounds of Conspiracy to and also being in the possession of a controlled substance illegally and with intent to deliver committed in July 2021.
- Parker, Karen E. of 116, Chestnut street, Pennsboro WV, who was accused and charged on the grounds of Fraudulent Schemes and Financial exploitation of an Elderly Person committed in the month of May, 2021.
